Discover the range of services available through WICCI, including financial grants, complementary therapies, counselling, support groups, and practical advice to support you throughout your cancer journey.
From financial assistance and emotional support to wellbeing therapies and practical guidance, WICCI is here to help anyone affected by cancer across the Western Isles find the support they need.
At Western Isles Cancer Care Initiative, we understand that a cancer diagnosis can bring unexpected financial worries. That’s why we offer grant support of up to £500 to help cover those extra costs that often arise during treatment. Whether it’s support for travel expenses (above the NHS allowance), heating your home, support for family or other essential expenses, our grants aim to provide a little relief during a challenging time. We believe that no one should have to face these times alone.
