We can offer a choice of Hand Cream, Lip Balm or Body / Pillow Spray

Ishga Hand Sanitiser

We all have to carry a hand sanitiser nowadays, so make sure you have one that offers the best luxury skincare, while offering all the protection you’ll need.

ishga Hand Sanitiser contains a high ethanol content (78%) to destroy any virus or bacteria. However, over-washed and sanitised hands need protection too, and ishga’s powerful seaweed skincare nourishes and cares for them.

A glycerin natural moisturiser and Hebridean spring water is blended with essential oils of lemongrass, rose geranium, lavender and juniper berry – chosen for their antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties.

ishga Hand Sanitiser is true to the principles of vegan skincare and all our ingredients are COSMOS organic certified by the Soil Association.

Spacemask

This self-heating eye mask which says ‘will transport you to another dimension’ – relieving tiredness giving a much-needed treat and luxury.  The warmth comes alive as soon as you open the pack, so make sure you are fully reclined and ready for lift-off!

Bamboo Cutlery

Certain types of cancer treatment can cause a metallic taste in the mouth. This can be really unpleasant and can affect your ability to enjoy food and mealtimes. One solution that has been found to work for many people is using non-metallic utensils and cutlery for preparation and eating. Using non-metallic cutlery means the metallic taste is not able to be introduced and is, therefore, less likely to overwhelm the other flavours in the mouth.

If you’ve been struggling with a metallic taste in your mouth as a result of cancer treatment, Bamboo Cutlery might be the simple solution you need.  The 4 pieces of cutlery is presented in a handy travel pouch, meaning you can take it out and about with you.

Water Biscuits / Ginger Biscuits

It is important to keep eating at regular intervals whilst going through treatment, but sometimes you just don’t feel like eating something heavy.  These biscuits are handy to have to hand to ensure you have something on your stomach, especially if you are taking regular medication.  Ginger is a well-known flavour to help alleviate nausea.

Silk Pillowcase

Some people undergoing chemotherapy treatment find a silk pillowcase a source of cooling comfort for their scalps during sleep. Those who go through chemotherapy and lose their hair suggest that a silk pillow can help the remaining hair stay smoother and snag-free.

Bonjela gel

Some cancer treatments can damage the cells that line your mouth, applying some bonjela may help with some of these complaints (please seek medical advice before applying).

Heat Pad

These lavender heat packs are specially designed to warm and apply to the body to provide pain relief and comfort where it is needed most. Simply warm in the microwave and place on the body to relieve aches and pains.  It can also be placed in the freezer to provide a cooling compress for bruising and swelling.

Sea Band

Some drugs administered during treatment can cause sickness and nausea for the individual.  It has been found that Sea-bands that use the principle of acupressure, which is similar to acupuncture can help. They apply pressure to the wrist, to control nausea.

Notebook

A simple small lined notebook which may be helpful for keeping notes of appointments, reminders or simply for writing thoughts down.

Adult Colouring Book & Pencils

Escape from some of the worries of treatment with some colouring in.  Recent studies have proved that even 10 minutes of colouring in activity reduces stress and relaxes you.  They are also handy if you have lots of spare time between hospital appointments or during chemotherapy treatment.

‘Thinking of you’ token

A lovely little ‘keepsake’ gift which can be easily stored in a pocket or bag, reminding you that a loved one is thinking of you.

Card

A lovely selection of cards which can be left blank for ‘gifter’ to write their own message.
