As we reach the end of 2025, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported WICCI throughout the year.

To everyone who has fundraised on our behalf, your generosity makes such a difference. To our incredible team of therapists, who support people in so many meaningful ways, we are deeply grateful. And to our dedicated Board of Trustees, thank you for your guidance and unwavering commitment to the charity.

Led by the joyful Carole Millar, this group is all about lifting spirits through song.

Let’s make September a month of creativity, connection, and care 💜

Our Ladies Cancer Support Group, for all women going through or recently been through cancer. This month the group will be meeting on Wednesday 13th August 2 – 4pm. Come along for a relaxed chat and a cuppa, bring a friend – all welcome.  This month Sandwick Bay Candles will be joining us with a Candle Making Workshop, where you will be shown how to make a lovely scented candle, from a range of scents,  to take home with you. There are 6 places available so make sure to contact us to book your place on this popular workshop.

Our singing for pleasure group – Hebridean Harmony are in Bethesda on Monday4th August and in the WICCI centre on Monday 11th, 18th and 25th August.

Our Stoma Support Group is a group is open to anyone with a Stoma, Ileostomy or Urostomy – not just those affected by cancer. If you are unable to get in to the Stornoway Centre you can join in online.  They are meeting on Friday 29th August.

WICCI in Harris – Jane Eastwood will be in the Harris Hotel on Wednesday 13th August offering Indian Head Massage, Leg and Foot Massage or Reiki.

For this month’s workshop, on 25th July, we are going to visit Jane Harlington at Blue Pig Studio Carloway, where she is hosting a Fabric Painting workshop where you will have an opportunity to design and paint a Tote bag.   No previous experience is needed and all materials will be supplied and WICCI will provide transport.  There are only 6 places available so if you don’t want to miss out on this fun afternoon get in contact to book you space.

There is no Stoma Support Group  this month,  Next meeting will be in May, date to be finalised, so keep an eye out for that announcement.  This group is open to anyone with a Stoma, Ileostomy or Urostomy – not just those affected by cancer.
